On Wednesday 2 March, I will be delivering a taster training session at the Technology for Marketing & Advertising show, entitled “What can Britney teach us about online reputation management?”.
It will form part of a series of training sessions, spread over two days, delivered by Econsultancy, IDM and the CIM within the Guest Theatre. The training sessions are free to attend, on a first come first served basis, so it’s advisable to register in advance.
Here is a brief synopsis of my training session, which I really hope you will come along to…
What can Britney teach us about online reputation management?
Shaving her head, a marriage that lasted 55 hours and a chaotic reality TV show are just a sample of some of the poor reputation management decisions that Britney has made, but she now has a clever way of dealing with negative and untrue comments that are made about her online.
In today’s world where communication is faster and freely available to everyone, it’s critical to keep on top of your online reputation.
Within this taster training session we will examine examples of best practice and poor online reputation management to illustrate possible approaches to dealing with negative comment online. With relevance to both corporate and personal branding, the session will also touch on strategies that can be taken to mitigate risk.
