Here is a quick review of a new Twitter tool to start off 2011 with. It’s called Twicly and is a real time Twitter image search engine. It’s a no-frills site that lets you do a keyword-based search for an image of your choice, which is useful if you are looking for pictures that go with a particular event or celebrity and that are doing the rounds on Twitter.
Once you click on your choosen image, you also get its corresponding Tweet.
Other features include: Popular Twitter images, i.e. what images are hot in the last 10 and 60 minutes and a Live Feed, which comes with this warning – “warning: The Live Feed is completely unfiltered. You will likely see images that are NSFW (Not Safe For Work). Proceed at your own risk”. Now there a call to action if ever I saw one! Enjoy!
